A Series / 3-5 p

XLR chassis connectors are part of almost every aspect of professional audio; as a microphone connector, in lighting systems, and found in almost any piece of sound equipment in the entertainment industry.
These `State of the Art` receptacles are round plastic body XLR pcb mount panel connectors. They have the smallest size and highest packing density (23 mm between centres). New designed tulip type female contact on 3 pin versions and fork type on 4 and 5-pole female connectors with hard gold plating and polished contact areas. Variety of grounding options and termination facilities, UL recognized component.

Termination
V = vertical pcb mount, straight pins
H = horizontal pcb mount, angled pins
HL = lateral left pcb mount
HR = lateral right pcb mount
Y = IDC connection

Locking mechanism
-0 = no latch, retention spring
No suffix = latch lock

Grounding options
Male connector
-0 = ground contact connected to shell ground, but not to front panel and Pin 1
w/o suffix = separate ground contact to mating connector shell and front panel

Female connector
-1 = mating connector shell to pin1 and front panel
-2 = separate ground contact to mating connector shell and front panel
w/o suffix = without ground / shell contact
